*Position Overview:*
We are seeking a motivated and professional Business Development Assistant to support our sales growth and customer retention.
This is a full-time non-exempt position working on-site out of our Long Beach office.
This role will require the associate to work closely with the Business Development/Sales department offering administrative support and assisting customers as needed.
*Responsibilities:*
● Work closely and collaboratively with the Business Development team to provide
administrative support
● Manage form completion and document organization during the vendor onboarding
process
● Assist with service agreement creation
● Provide support during insurance certification process
● Collect and maintain client information in the CRM database
● Respond to client calls/emails during the client onboarding process
● Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various
levels of management, staff, and clients
● Support the Director of Business Development and accounting team during quarterly
sales commission calculation
● Assist with various other office administrative tasks including filing, scanning, calendar
management, answering phones, and running occasional errands
*Candidate Requirements:*
● High school diploma or equivalent required
● 1-2 years of relevant work experience in an office administrative support position
● Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
● Strong time management and organizational skills
● A passion to succeed and grow and an extremely solid work ethic
● Strong attention to detail
● The desire to be a true team-player
● Professional, presentable and clear
● Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
● Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
● Reliable transportation
● Minimal local travel is required (mileage reimbursement offered)
● Experience in plumbing, construction, or similar industries a plus but not required
