*We are boutique higher end optical and optometry office looking for a seasoned, stylish and fun Optician with at least 5 years of optical experience to partner with our doctor & team.
This is a FT position.

You have an excellent knowledge base of optics, optical products, frames, history of eyewear selection & materials and able to discern top quality choices from perceived options.
You are able to communicate this knowledge to the customer so they can understand the benefit of the bells and whistles of a complete eyeglass pair.
You have excellent communication skills and really delight in helping our customers see and look their best!
*Spanish speaking is a plus.

*Responsibilities:*
* ALL aspects of opticianry including: adjustment of frames of all types, be an expert in materials, ordering, selling, explaining, maximizing the optical sale to maximize the patient experience and visual needs.
* Billing various insurances and putting in jobs for both exam and optical services.
* All tasks to support the staff as needed to ensure an excellent patient & customer experience from beginning to end
* Experience in edging lenses is a plus!
* Ability to jump in and help our amazing team with pretesting and other aspects of a patient's journey and experience where needed.
*Skills*: This is a fast paced office.
