Primary Responsibilities:
Support health plan sales & account management teams in their efforts to sell, renew, negotiate and service small, mid-market and large group corporate & Medicare clients
Collaborate with the sales & account management teams to create presentations for internal teams and clients; present as needed
Actively engage and lead on special projects as identified throughout the internship
Partner and collaborate across internal teams, including product, reporting and operational resources
Wide range of activities focused within our Sales & Account Management teams
Learn of the various departments and businesses that are within UnitedHealth Group
Generate reports utilizing the suite of Microsoft software solutions and other internal platforms
Suggests and recommends Process Improvement strategies
Attend both internal and external meetings as needed

Required Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university during the duration of the internship.
Internships are not intended for graduating seniors

Preferred Qualifications:
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Sophomore level class year (June 2026 grad)/Junior level class year (June 2025 grad)
California Residents Only: The hourly range for California residents is $18.
00 to $32.
00 per hour.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
