*Job Summary:*
Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, the Development and Communications Associate works collaboratively to promote the agency’s mission across a variety of sectors (print, social media, in-person outreach), assists in developing and executing fundraising events, and provides administrative support to fulfill grant and contract requirements.
*Job Responsibilities:*
* Manages the DonorPerfect database to ensure accuracy of information.
* Ensures gift acknowledgments are sent out timely and accurately.
* Data entry to accurately track client data for the purposes of submitting funding requests and reports.
* Maintains comprehensive calendar for funding requests, grant reporting, agency events, and donor and social media engagement.
* Creates engaging social media content that reflects the agency’s culture and mission.
* Assists in the creation of print and digital marketing materials.
* Updates the organization’s website.
* Assists in the development of donor recognition and engagement strategies.
* Provides staff support for fundraising events, including planning, coordination, and execution.
*Requirements:*
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
* Two years of work experience in marketing and/or communications.
* Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
* Ability to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, and meet deadlines.
* Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Experience with email marketing platforms.
* Knowledge of donor management and graphic design software, like DonorPerfect and Canva.
* Knowledge of social media platforms, including management tools, analytics, and etiquette.
* Data entry experience.
* Curious and creative thinker.
* Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
*Time Commitment and Compensation:*
Full-time, $26 - $28 per hour, DOE.
