The Associate Product Line Manager (APLM) on the JR286 Product team will support the Product Line Manager with all aspects of creating and managing a two to three year life-cycle matrix for Nike Accessories.
As an APLM, you will work as part of a cross-functional team to maximize growth and profitability in the assigned product portfolio.
The location of this role will be in the Los Angeles region, based out of the JR286 offices.
What You’ll Do:
Work cross functionally as part of a team with Design, Graphics, Sales, Planning and Operations on all issues related to products within Performance & Lifestyle assigned categories
Helps to identify opportunities for expansion or rationalization of products by assisting in the creation of new product briefs and strategy.
Clearly communicate the goals of new product introductions to design, development and sales
Conduct on-going market analysis to identify consumer, competition and product technology trends relevant to assigned products
Conducts focus groups and wear testing sessions and provide detailed analysis to the teams
Create and maintain seasonal Visual Line Plans for internal and external use
Tracking, collect and store of samples through various stages of development
Creation of seasonal copy for catalogs and packaging on new and updated styles
Work with cross functional teams to ensure on-time delivery of SMS
Partner with the Product Line Manager and Sales to select SMS, setup SKU information, distribute line list and track delivery
Support management of all collateral material pertaining to assigned product portfolio (i.
e.
catalog, tech sheets, presentations and visual needs)
Merchandise assigned areas for product and sales presentations
Assist with all needs around seasonal Go-To-Market
Other duties as assigned
What To Bring:
1-3 years in a Product related role; Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) preferred
Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related field.
Some industry experience in product or sporting goods is preferred
Previous experience with FLEX or similar PLM software
Computer fluency - PC based windows applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Excellent time management skills
Must have a passion for product
Adaptable and flexible to new environments, changing process and priorities
Highly organized with ability to multi-task and prioritize
Be able to anticipate busy schedules and plan accordingly
Work in a team environment and be able to communicate with other members of the team to complete assignments on time and accurately
Possess openness in their problem-solving and integrity in their dealing with vendors and internal team members

The location of this role can be in the greater Portland or Los Angeles region, based out of the Nike or JR286 offices
