About This Research Study Hypertriglyceridemia refers to an elevated level of triglycerides (TG) or lipids in the bloodstream.
A severe elevation of triglycerides can increase a person's risk for pancreatitis.
Elevations of TG may also lead to an increased risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular (CV) events even when the LDL-C is well controlled by statin therapy.
Ark Clinical Research is conducting a clinical research study for an investigational medication for hypertriglyceridemia.
