Surf Fishing, Long Rod/Reel - $80 (Long Beach, Belmont Heights)

Diawa Emcast Rod EC 1002MHFS 10' MH spinning rod, rated for a 3-6 oz lure & 15-30lb line Daiwa Emcast Sport 6000 spinning reel This long rod (10 ft)/reel combo is a good setup for fishing the sand spike on the beach.
They have a few scuffs on them and there is a small tear in the rod handle material near the butt.
Nothing a few wraps of electrical tape won't cover.
No corrosion on the rod or the reel.
If you're not looking closely for the scuffs, the setup appears in very good condition.
The reel has infinite anti-reverse, spins smooth, and the drags are good.
It's shown with line but I'll be removing the line before it sells.
I bought the combo to go surf-fishing with some folks from a fishing club and tried it for a few months.
It was nice for a while, sitting in a lawn chair, drinking coffee, and chatting but now I'm sure that I prefer the light-tackle approach where I'm mobile and cover more water.
