Looking to join a heavy metal band with influences by High on Fire, Elder, Messa, Mastodon, Tool, Cliff/Jason era Metallica.
I’m based in Long Beach and would like to stay within 10 miles or so.
I’m 48 young, fit, LOUD gear and transportation.
Also have a full time job and family but I have time to make music with the right people.
That being said, I cannot rehearse 3-4x a week.
I can do a weekend jam at my shared rehearsal space in Signal Hill and I can practice on my own and be ready quickly.
I can sing if needed, play guitar and drums although I’m rusty there but willing to put in work to get it going.
Might be willing to do sub work if it’s rockin.
Not looking to tour, but would love to record heavy, fast, dynamic stuff with fantastic guitar solos, double kick and play out locally.
I appreciate Sabbath and all they’ve done but I’d like to find something more progressive leaning.
I don’t do drugs and barely drink.
It would be great if you had some songs going or at least some riffs to hear.
