We are Bad Daddies, an established, female fronted, Long Beach based band playing cool, unique covers in the genre of rock-n-roll with a blues/noir/rockabilly edge.
We have recently gotten into the rotation at a handful of great local spots in Long Beach, Huntington Beach and Costa Mesa and we are currently on the hunt for a keyboard player.
We are looking for someone who is talented on keys, but also a good human who is reliable, committed and has a sense of humor (the ability to tolerate our smart-ass guitar player is a must).
Existing members are between 47-63 years old, but we are open to anyone who is a good fit.
Time commitment is generally once a week between rehearsals (in Belmont Shore) and gigs.
We have jobs and families and are not looking to become famous or rich… we just love making music and love spending time together.
We have been in a good place with gigging twice a month and are being paid decently and treated well by the venues hiring us.
Our current song list includes artists such as: Imelda May, Stevie Ray Vaughn, the Motels, Pretenders, Los Lobos, BB King, Stray Cats, Nancy Sinatra, Devil Doll, Joan Jett, Morphine, INXS, ZZ Top and Amy Winehouse.
Cool stuff that is really fun to play and not your typical cover songs.
