Vintage Sansui 2000 Receiver REFURBISHED - $420 (Torrance)

did a nice restoration and upgrade on this lovely model 2000: recapped primary and secondary power supply boards using higher voltage rated caps, recapped the pre amp and amp boards and used lots of film caps on the signal paths for improved sound quality (aka low noise), cleaned/lubed the pots and switches, changed out critical caps on FM board and MPX board so FM sounds amazing, refreshed the heatsink paste on the output transistors and then converted all the lamps to LEDs AND did the LIGHTS ON mod (stays lit on all input settings)…Its sitting on a nice set of aluminum isolation feet….
Fully tested using an 8 ohm dummy load, signal generator and scope with an additional tone sweep of the phono circuit using an inverse RIAA unit…Sounds fantastic😎 Insta @slimshade73 Insta @royal_hippie
