Long Term Substitute Teacher, Special Education

*This is a full-time sub position working 205 days per year on campus, Monday-Friday.
When not scheduled to teach, this position will support the classrooms in a paraprofessional role or assist with the adult program as needed.
* *Speech and Language Development Center is a non-profit school and therapy center serving children and young adults, with a private special education school serving students K-12+.
Based on more than 65 years of knowledge, skill and success, SLDC provides remediation for language/learning, emotional/social and neurologically-based needs to students with a broad scope of diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder.
* *Opportunity:* We are currently seeking a substitute teacher with a moderate-severe teaching credential for our high school program.
This candidate will have experience working with students with special needs including but not limited to: Autism Spectrum Disorders, Intellectual Disabilities, Speech and Communication Disorders and Other Health Impairments.

This position will join our teaching faculty of 16+ other Education Specialist and work alongside our team of nearly 24 therapists providing truly interdiscplinary programs to best support our students needs.
