Responsibilities:
- Safely operate our KEV (Kona Entertainment Vehicle)
- Provide respectful and courteous customer service to all customers and their guests, if applicable
- Take payments via Squarepay terminal
- Create and serve Kona Ice cups of various sizes.
-Follow all applicable food safety requirements.
- Stay up to date on ServSafe certifications and all other required trainings.
- Drive short distances to bring Kona Ice to our customers in a timely manner.
- Load and unload bags of ice and containers of syrup as needed.
- Perform routine cleaning of the interior and exterior of the truck as needed.
- Follow all applicable traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with the appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with experience in driving a food truck
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
