The Delivery Driver will deliver manufactured cannabis products to licensed cannabis retailers and distro.
Ensure the quality, timeliness, and excellence of service for each delivery.
Ensure that all delivery transactions are recorded accurately and efficiently.
They are responsible for the physical movement of delivered products, managing multiple stops, cash handling & vehicle maintenance.
This position requires the ability to operate both large and small delivery vans, being comfortable with being on the road throughout the day, transporting various goods/materials and enjoying brief encounters with customers.
Must be able to keep good relations with the customers and be able to get all delivery details and preferences which they request.
We want a dependable driver who is detail-oriented and organized.
The driver will be the face of the company that our customers will interact with during deliveries.
A clean driving record is a must, background checks will be required.
*Drivers must be able to;*
* Follow protocols to stay compliant and deliver products safely and on time.
* Complete all complaint documents needed for deliveries.
* Drive for 8 hours or more
* Very aware of surroundings and knowing safety protocols
* Confirm order accuracy with customers and verify order is consistent with invoice
* Handle heavy boxes and materials (up to 40-50lb)
* Create/Follow efficient driving routes with good time management
* Project a professional image with attire, and attitude
* Acquire & Manage petty cash & Pick up payments
* Coordinate with Distribution to ensure all orders to be delivered are packed, with manifest paperwork and METRC tags.
* Provide any gathered information on customers delivery details, contacts or specifications of each location.
* Log driving time, pick up time & provide EOD reporting of delivery details.
* Report any issues to the Supervising Manager.
Duties consist of:
* Delivery multiple drops/pick ups throughout the state of CA.
This entails leaving early and long driving days as we deliver to all parts of CA.
* Loading van of all delivery boxes and delivering each order with consistency, accuracy and in a timely manner.
Many drops have time windows that must be kept to.
* Driving safely and efficiently.
Long drives may require overnight stays in a Hotel.
Communication & safety is the highest priority.
* Managing the Vehicle maintenance needed for the trip and during the routes.
