Angel’s Trucking is seeking to hire an experienced Class A Driver for the P.
M.
Shift 12:00pm & 100pm start times—$ 23-$26 per hour.
Responsibilities:
Must have CDL – Class A for at least 2 years of driving experience.
Must be able to work weekends & inconsistent workday schedule changes.
Must have Experience in handling Air Freight.
Must have Knowledge of Airlines Cargo locations at LAX.
Must have experience working Roller Bed Equipped systems on 53-foot Trailers for airline containers Haulage.
Driving Tractor & Various Trailer Types (53 ft.
Dry van, 53 Ft.
Reefer, 53 ft.
Roller Bed).
Air & Ocean Freight Experience.
Local Pick-ups and Deliveries (Trailer Loads dock to dock 2-3 loads per day).
Driver Manifesting (Notating P&D Job Descriptions, freight damages, and client accessorial requests).
Driver DOT Log Book (Tracking In and Out times, mileages, Fuel times and miles, Verifying cities and total hours worked, etc.
)
Driver Equipment Inspection Reports (notating repairs on checklist inspection needed for Airlines, lights, tires, etc.
)
Driver Communication to dispatch Via Radio, Cell, & Tablet (shipment updates for OFD & POD with freight exceptions or add-ons and/or accessorial for client authorization).
Overtime & Double Time Required on occasion.
