Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team.
As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently towing and transporting vehicles to designated locations.
This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent driving skills, automotive knowledge, and exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Operate a tow truck or flatbed to safely load, transport, and unload vehicles
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting stranded motorists and ensuring their safety
- Maintain accurate records of all tows, including vehicle information and destination
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the tow truck
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Perform routine maintenance on tow trucks, including fueling, cleaning, and inspecting for any mechanical issues
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Strong automotive repair and diagnostic skills
- Experience operating tow trucks or flatbeds preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Ability to load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly on your feet
