Drivers Needed Part-Time

*Drivers Needed Part Time* _*THE OPPORTUNITY*_ The School Driver/Technician performs a variety of functions for the Transportation Department.
Which include, but not limited in maintaining the maintenance and sanitizing the Beacon Day School’s vehicles.
_*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*_ * Must fill out *Vehicle Condition Report *(VCR) on a daily basis.
* Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations, using Van telephones via text message, email, or phone call when vehicle is parked in a safe manner at all times.
* Pick up and drop off students are regularly scheduled neighborhood locations, following strict time schedules.
In addition will provide transportation throughout the day (part time) as necessary by the Transportation Department.
* Comply with traffic regulations in order to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
* Follow all safety rules at all times.
* Keep designated vehicles interior and exterior clean at all times.
* Maintain knowledge of first-aid procedures and emergency evacuations through updated training procedures.
* Ensuring that designated vehicle’s fuel is at adequate level (3/4 and above), vehicle’s fuel card limit is 25 gallons.
* DO NOT FUEL before picking up/dropping off students, fueling must be done at the end of the part time shift.
* Provide proper minor maintenance to all vehicles when needed.
* Assemble/disassemble school equipment and/or dispose of it when necessary.
* Minimum maintenance exterior and interior of the facility when required by the Transportation Department.
_*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS*_ * Ability to read, write, and speak English.
* High school diploma/GED or higher.
* Experience in transportation or other related fields * Appearance, grooming, and personality that provides a positive reflection of Beacon Day School.
* *Must meet Department of Educational employment requirements for hire; Department of Justice Fingerprints*, previous employment verification, provide proof of a current driver's license, two forms of identification as required by the Department of Justice.
_*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*_ * Must be able to work under normal/excessive outdoor temperatures.
* Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
