Job Description
We are currently hiring a full-time Non-CDL Driver (2nd shift - M-F 4:00pm - 12:00 am, but flexible based on the workload) to work within a one-mile radius of our Carson Distribution Center during our peak season, weekends and overtime may be required.
Non-CDL Drivers are responsible for transporting, loading and unloading freight in a productive and safe manner.
A day in the office looks like this:
Performing pre- and post-trip inspections on straight truck that is being utilized
Properly documenting all freight control processes
Reading and understanding maps, road signs and working as part of a delivery team when at a customer location
Using e-log to be DOT compliant
Maintaining cleanliness of company vehicle
Interacting and conversing with external/internal customers
Work in the warehouse as needed
Participating in Lakeshore’s CCP deliveries as needed
Qualifications
Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:
Valid driver’s license
Ability to pass DOT physical
No DUI, citation/conviction for reckless operation in the past three years
Fewer than two moving violations in the past three years
Basic math skills
Ability to pass a drug screening and background check

Hourly: $17-$20 with an annual bonus of up to 10%
