We are looking for a Warehouse/Delivery Driver to join our growing team! The position responsibilities include for collecting, transporting and safely delivering a range of items to designated locations ensuring all orders are delivered on time, in the right condition and to the right place.
_*What are the key role responsibilities?*_
* Delivers high-quality products to our customers and from our vendors in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
* Use navigation applications to determine the best route including plan for traffic, construction and weather delays.
* Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
* Establishes and maintains professional relations with customer’s shipping & receiving department personnel.
* Reviews and verifies packing slips to ensure accuracy.
* Inspects delivery vehicles and ensures the safety and security of the loading and unloading process.
* Days light on deliveries will require general warehouse duties, i.
e.
shipping & receiving.
* Follows safety and lifting protocols.
* Maintains delivery logs and records.
*Delivery Driver Skills / Qualifications:*
* Must be able to work 7am – 3:30pm M-F (Extra hours needed on occasion)
* Valid class c driver’s license
* Must have 1+ year(s) of box truck and/or flatbed truck experience.
* Clean driving record
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Familiarity with operating a GPS navigation system
* Highly responsible & reliable
* Ability to work well in a team setting and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
