codeCampus is seeking to hire and train After School Teachers in the Lawndale area for Spring 2024 and beyond.
As a After School Teacher, you will:
* Work with site staff in our summer program in our partner Lawndale schools
* Lead STEAM lessons for students in their classrooms using our proprietary curriculum
* Teach students in grades TK - 8
* Classes run Monday through Friday from 3-6pm, with the exception of 1-3:30pm on Thursdays

This role is great for early-career educators, or seasoned educators who have availability after school.
Candidates for this position must possess the following qualifications:
* Available to start training immediately (paid), and to start instructing.
* Availability to start working from 03/2024 and beyond
* Available Monday - Friday from approximately 3:00pm - 6:00pm and Thursdays from 1:00pm - 3:30pm (approx.
20-22 working hours per week)
* Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting
* Exceptional communication skills
* Access to reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance
* Willing to go through our professional development training program

The hourly rate for this position is $25.
00 - $27.
00/hour depending on experience, plus commuter benefits, with opportunities for pay raises based on performance and time with the company.
