We are currently hiring *Substitute teachers, Aides, Assistants, and Ongoing-Lead Teachers* for our associated schools in the *areas of Gardena, South Los Angeles, *and surrounding areas *for the 2023-2024 school year.

We highly encourage college students (preferably majoring in Child Development) to apply but it is *NOT REQUIRED*.
Individuals with little to no experience or no units are welcome to apply; However, experience in Childcare or a Preschool setting is a *PLUS.

*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Provides support in the classroom/outdoor play to ensure a safe and educational environment.
* Assists the classroom in maintaining the hygiene and personal needs of the children.
* Assists with weekly planning and implementation of daily educational activities for children.
* Assist in preparing classroom materials.
* Assist in sanitizing and maintaining a clean environment.
* Makes observations (written and/or verbal notations) of the children.
* Supports the social, emotional, physical, and developmental needs of each child.
* Maintains good communication with parents and co-workers.
* *Takes advantage of all educational opportunities for professional growth.

*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:*
* Ability to communicate effectively.
* Ability to understand and follow directions.
* Must possess a positive and professional attitude.
* Must be flexible and able to work well with a diverse group of people
*Qualifications:*
* *No experience required.
*
* Experience in Head Start, Montessori, or Childcare Center *(Preferred)*.
* *Minimum 0-12units* in Child Development/Early Childhood or related field.

* *A 100% COMMUTE IS REQUIRED.

* Must have open availability (Monday to Friday *FULL TIME*).
