Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher and/or Afterschool Teacher to join our team.
As a teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and fostering their development.
Our ideal candidate has experience working with children, possesses strong classroom management skills, and is knowledgeable in childhood development.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children
- Use effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive learning environment
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and well-maintained
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged and/or school-aged children
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to provide first aid when necessary
Qualifications:
- ECE (Early Childhood Education)
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred), Fingerprint/Background Clearance, Mandated Reporter Certificate
- Experience working with students with diverse needs (preferred)
- Christian counseling experience (preferred)
