Preschool Teacher

*Job Summary* To plan and teach all classroom activities related to the Mary Star of the Sea Preschool for fostering growth and learning among preschool children.
*Responsibilities and Duties* Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate preschool program for young children.
Plan and implement activities to meet the spiritual, physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the children in the program.
Provide weekly and monthly schedules of activities.
Develop culturally appropriate programs and activities.
develop activities that introduce math and literacy concepts.
Need to be familiar with emergency procedures.
*Qualifications and Skills* Must have twelve (12) units of Early Childhood Education, including units in Child Development, Child, Family and Community, and Curriculum,.
Must have 15 hours of Health and Safety Training (CPR, First Aid and Preventive Health) Must have a TB clearance, Current flu shot and MMR.
