_ *This position is eligible for candidates insterested in working with Student Supervision for our After School Program at Carnegie Middle School.
* *Location:* Carnegie Middle School in Carson, CA.
*POSITION SUMMARY:* Reporting to the Site Supervisor and Program Manager, the Program Leader implements homework assistance and after-school academic enrichment (club) activities for elementary and middle school students.
*ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Provide academic assistance to middle school students as part of comprehensive after school experience.
* Lead enrichment activities that connects academic learning and club activity in creative, innovative and fun way.
* Recruit and maintain minimum number of participating students.
* Accurately complete and maintain daily sign-ins.
* Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
* Attend occasional Saturday/weekday trainings.
* Mentor and act as positive role model for student participants.
* Other duties as assigned.

*OTHER DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS:* * Pass a post-offer Live Scan (fingerprint/background clearance-Department of Justice) before commencing employment.
* Employment in this position is contingent on continuance of funding for the program.
*WORK SCHEDULE:* * Traditional Schools - 183 days of school year per contract (LAUSD 2023/2024) * 15-18 hours a week; Monday through Friday.
(Additional hours possible) * Occasional Saturday Morning Professional Development Trainings *WAGES, BENEFITS AND EVALUATIONS:* * Employment Status: Contract Employee * Hourly Rate Range: $20.
00 – $24.
00 per hour * Benefits are not provided for contract employees.
