Vintage Eight Fairies chess set - $199 (Long Beach)

Vintage (1960s') Portable Folding Chinese Chess Set - Carved Intricate Detailed Board and Pieces.
Comes in hand carved Cherry Brown wooden case.
Board approximately 18" x 18"; King piece approximately 4" tall.
In-laid decorative colorful etched tiles inscribed with Chinese (Taiwan) proverbs.
Carved dark and light green pieces, housed in drawers under the board.
A very unique addition for an avid chess player or collector of Asian art.
It is still in good condition but has some wear due to storage.
The corners of the wooden chessboard have carved dragons.
The board itself has Chinese characters inlay.
The chess pieces are stored in Felt lined drawers under the chessboard.
I still have the styrofoam packing.
It is easy to display open or can be stored in a closed wooden case.
The chess board itself is approx 14 x 14 inches, and the board with a wooden decorative border is approx 19 x 19 inches.
The height is 2 1/2 inches.
The dimensions of the closed board are 18 by 9 by 5 inches.
The whole chess weighs almost 8 pounds.
