Job Title: Campus Leader / Supervision Schedule: 32.
5 hrs/week min.
Job Type: Full-Time, 11-months FLSA Status: Non-exempt Reports to: Principal Pay: $17.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Campus Leader supervises and supports students before, during, or after school, as needed.
The Campus Leader uses positive language with students, ensures student safety, and treats all students with warmth and respect.
The Campus Leader will help with all other school responsibilities as needed, including but not limited to: office support, support with events and student recruitment, and assisting teachers in the classroom.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & JOB DUTIES: Duties may include, but are not limited to: NETWORK CONTRIBUTIONS: Support the noble cause, vision, and core values of Ingenium Schools Strive to implement, by instruction and action, Ingenium Schools’ philosophy of education and instructional goals and objectives Continuously maintain and improve professional competence Attend mandatory trainings, professional meetings, and educational conferences, as required SCHOOL CULTURE Encourage students to set and maintain minimum standards of behavior using positive reinforcement, positive teaching strategies, and shared accountability Positively mediate and resolve student conflicts by empowering students to self identify issues, solutions, and consequences In collaboration with teachers, prepare and implement behavior intervention programs for students requiring extra help Create and maintain safe, developmentally appropriate student spaces Implement and support school/organizational policies governing student life and conduct Actively participate in student recruitment, including but not limited to: attending recruitment events, student orientations, and community events to represent the school and inform the community of Ingenium Schools Assists with distribution of marketing materials in the community, as needed SAFETY Actively supervise and engage all students, enforcing school rules, school boundaries, and school behavior expectations Plan and supervise safe student activities, encouraging students to learn from activities Identify, report, and/or timely correct major and minor safety risks/hazards on the campus/bus Inspect and maintain any equipment in good working order; identify and report need for re-order(s) Prepare student spaces, as needed Actively clean student spaces, as needed DATA DRIVEN Consistently, timely, and accurately complete and deliver written incident reports Provide frequent and timely feedback to teachers/supervisors on student behavior Maintain student confidentiality COLLABORATION Confer with teachers and administrators to develop and implement strategies to improve student behavior, as needed Maintain and improve professional competence and participate in professional development opportunities Actively participate in team meetings and serve on staff committees, school-wide events, parent workshops, and community partnership events Assist with school/organizational events, general supervision, extra-curricular support, tutoring, student recruitment, etc.
, as needed Perform related duties as assigned May be required to work outside of normal workdays and on weekends to meet operational deadlines or aims KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES KNOWLEDGE OF Child cognitive development and learning styles Learning and motivational strategies for students ABILITY TO: Maintain positive attitude Maintain regular attendance (adequate supervision required by law and ability to find staff substitute limited) Establish a culture of high expectations based on the belief that all students can be successful Interact appropriately with children of all ages and adequately supervise large groups of children Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community Manage student behavior to ensure every student is fully engaged, productive, and safe Read and understand rules and policies, labels, and instructions REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION High School Diploma or GED equivalent Required Licenses and Certificates: CPR/First Aid (provided by Ingenium post-hire, if needed) Negative TB test and clear background check required WORKING CONDITIONS ENVIRONMENT Majority of duties performed outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, dust, wind, etc.
).
Some exposure to childhood and other diseases.
Exposure to moderate and loud campus noise and seasonal temperatures.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Campus Leaders are physically active and must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and run at least 100 yards.
In addition, this job requires at least 1 hour of sitting and potentially 5 hours of continuous standing, walking, and/or monitoring outdoors in minimal shade, stooping, crouching, kneeling, squatting, and twisting.
Campus Leaders must have adequate vision and the ability to communicate orally and in writing.
